Maldivian culture is diverse, a mixture of Arabian, African, Sri Lankan and Indian. But, Maldives is 100% Islam since it was introduced in the 12^th century. In fact, the major events and festivals in Maldives follow the Muslim calendar. Islam is also part of the Maldivian school curriculum.
